The Fund has been set up for 30 years. Since its establishment, more than 200 scholarships amounting to around $41million have been awarded to outstanding young musicians and dancers. Many of the scholarship recipients are now contributing to music and dance in Hong Kong and nurturing new generation of local artists.
Being the Custodian Trustee of the Fund, the Home Affairs Bureau has been providing solid support to the operation of the Fund. A Board of Trustees is also set up for us to join hands with other members of the society to cultivate local music and dance talents.
The Fund would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Parker Randall CF (H.K.) CPA Limited and Vincent Kwok & Co, which respectively provide honorary accounting and auditing services to the Fund from January 2012 onwards.
