The Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund announced on 15 September the award of scholarships, totalling $3.26 million, to nine young talents in music and dance to support them in continuing their studies in Hong Kong or abroad.
The nine awardees are Miss Angela Chan, Miss Anna Chan, Mr Harry Chiu, Mr Leo Ho, Mr Patrick Lui, Miss Isabella Ng, Mr Cary Shiu, Mr James Yan and Mr Michael Yeung.
This year, the Fund produced a video clip, recording the congratulation messages and speeches by the Board Chairman of the Fund, Mr So Cheung-tak Douglas, JP, and the Chairman of this year's Dance Audition Panel, Prof Ou Lu, as well as the short performance and thoughts of the awardees.
Remarks: The Fund awarded scholarships to Miss Jessie LAW Ho-yan and Mr LEUNG Ka-lok on 28 October 2020, increasing the total number of scholarships awarded for 2020/21 from nine to 11.
